Ivesley's Cross Country Course is available for hire!

We have jumps from 40cm to 100cm, with full courses of 55cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm. We have a variety of styles of jumps including ditches, corners, trakheners, steps, our famous drop and smaller practice fences. Our course is perfect for beginners all the way through to those practicing for BE80 or BE100.

We always endeavour to open as much of the course as possible, however some parts of it stay wet for longer than others and may be closed for safety reasons, for maintenance or to protect our hay crop. If there is a particular jump you wish to practice, please call ahead on 0191 3737220 to make sure that it's available. Don't enter any parts of the field that are coned off.

Please fill out the entry form to book an arrival time slot. You can arrive any time during that hour.

Please only book one horse per entry. It doesn't cost you any more.

There is no restriction on how long you can spend on the course.

You must wear a Hat and Back Protector that conforms to current British Eventing guidelines. Your back protector must have a BETA 2009 or 2018 label. Your hat must conform to BS EN 1384:2017, VGI or PAS 015: 1998/2011. You must attach photographs of the labels on your Hat and Back Protector to your entry form with a piece of paper with your name and today's date written on it.

If you're using the Cross Country Course alone, someone must accompany you on foot.

You can bring a qualified and insured instructor with you.
