Horse must be up to date with flu vaccs. Annual booster to be have done within a year.\nWarm up is to take place in designated ar ea only. \nThe judge's decision is final. \nAny competitor under 18 must b e accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. \nThe management an d organisers reserve the right to alter/amend the rules at their discretio n.\nNo competitor or spectator may enter the livery buildings or touch any liveried horses at Ivesley.\n\nTack and Equipment\nThe following are perm itted:\n\nEnglish type saddles including treeless\nIntro\, Preliminary and Novice tests – snaffle bridles only\nElementary and medium tests – ordina ry snaffle or double bridles\nNosebands are obligatory (drop\, flash\, cav esson or grackle with a snaffle and a cavesson with a double bridle)\nDisc reet padding of the bridle at the poll or noseband\nNose nets that are dis creet covering the nose only and leaving the mouth and bit visible\nBreast plates\nNeckstraps – Prelim level\nAnti fly impregnated brow-bands or fly discs\nEar covers and fly hoods (premitted for all competition)- ear cover s must not cover the horse's eyes. Noise reduction ear covers are permitte d\nNumnahs and saddle clothes (logo no more than 14cmx14cm)\nStallion disc MUST be displayed on each side of a stallions bridle at all times\nSide s addles\, those choosing to ride side saddle should notify the organiser be fore the start of the class so the judge can be informed\n\nThe following are NOT permitted:\n\nMartingales\nBit guard\, tongue guard or tongue stra p\nBoots and bandages (except when warming up)\nSubstitutes for convention al shoes except in warm up\nElasticated reins\nSaddle covers and seat save rs\nMarket Harboroughs\, side\, draw\, check or running reins\nHackamores and other bitless bridles\nBlinkers or hoods\nEar plugs\nFine wire\, twine or cord round the horses mouth\nFull faced fly shields\nSheepskin cheek p ieces or any other attachment which may affect horse's vision\n\nEquipment \n\nWhips are allowed in all competition including championships\nSpurs wi th necks set on the inside of the heel\, roughened or cutting edges serrat ed spurs with or without necks are NOT permitted\nSpurs must be worn with the curve directed downwards.
